Small beginnings
Habit tracker ideas
Pick one small action you can repeat, even on a busy day. These are starting points, not a list to finish.

Make the goal easy to recognise
“Read one page” is easier to log than “read more.” Start with a yes-or-no action, a count, or a number of minutes. If every day is not realistic, choose a weekly target instead.
Momentum tracks daily and weekly habits, including actions you choose to avoid. Its Momentum Score reflects recent consistency; Streak Freezes can protect a missed day when you have an available token.
Movement
- Walk for 10 minutes each day.
- Stretch for 2 minutes after lunch.
- Take a walk three times a week.
Learning
- Read one page each day.
- Practise a language for 5 minutes.
- Write down one thing you learned.
Sleep
- Put your phone away before bed.
- Read a page instead of scrolling at bedtime.
- Start your wind-down routine at a consistent time.
Focus
- Choose one priority before starting work.
- Work without distractions for 10 minutes.
- Clear your desk at the end of the day.
Mindfulness
- Take three calm breaths.
- Write one sentence in a journal.
- Spend 2 minutes sitting quietly.
Everyday finances
- Record one purchase.
- Review your spending once a week.
- Pause before an unplanned purchase.
Connection
- Send a thoughtful message to someone.
- Call a friend or family member once a week.
- Give someone your undivided attention for 5 minutes.
Choose one. Keep it small.
Try your habit for a week. If it is hard to repeat, reduce the target rather than adding more habits.
